May Mini Courses

Mini courses are an annual event where community members from Surry and the surrounding towns come into the school and work with, teach and share their hobbies, favorite crafts, activities and even occupations with the students. This event takes place in 40 minute afternoon sessions during the first two Fridays in May. 

 

In the past we have had some of the following courses offered to students: finger knitting, yoga, seaweed lava lamps, cooking, biking, beekeeping, marine patrol, banking, game wardens, law enforcement and so much more!
